Il locale - The place:
Sorge nella valle di S. Agostino, bagnata dal fiume Retrone e contornata dai Colli Berici. Prima panetteria e poi locanda, tra le due guerre diviene cenacolo di artisti e poeti. Da tre generazioni è gestita dalla famiglia Bari, che nel 1992 ha restaurato e ampliato con grande gusto i locali, rispettando però la tradizione. Possiede una sala per cerimonie e banchetti, una sala ristorante e una terrazza all'aperto, tutti climatizzati.
La cucina è espressione della grande tradizione culinaria vicentina.
It is situated on the Retrone river in the S.Agostino valley, and it is surrounded by Berici Hills. It was first bakery and then inn. It became, between the two wars, the meeting place for poets and artists. For three generations it has been run by the Bari family. It was renovated and enlarged in 1992, all in excellent taste and style, and fully respecting the traditional old structure. There's a room for banquets and meetings, a restaurant-dining room and an open-air terrace, all of them with air conditioning.
The cooking is an expression of the great tradition of Vicenza.
Orario - Open from: dalle 12 alle 14.30, dalle 19 alle 22.30. Chiuso domenica - 12 to 14.30 p.m. and from 7 to 10.30 p.m.. Closed on Sundays.
